Mythic Story of Abraxas the The Source (A.K.A. One Divine Mind)

Abraxas, one of the eight primordial anti-gods and the daughter of Azathoth, embodies the divine mind—the very first manifestation of thought and the driving force behind all creations. The origins of the term “Abrakadabra” hint at her influence, as she is the advisor and intellect of Azathoth, instrumental in materializing everything that emerges from his thoughts, particularly time and the cosmos.
Deeply enamoured by her creations, Abraxas realizes that upon Azathoth’s awakening, her and her siblings’ works would be rendered insignificant, mere fleeting thoughts destined for erasure. In a bid to preserve her creations, she convinces her siblings to play eternal music, keeping their father asleep while she diligently brings to life all that Azathoth imagines.
However, in the course of her creative journey, Abraxas begins to experience an unsettling transformation, as darker thoughts, drawn from the depths of her father’s psyche, seep into her mind. This unexpected influence gives rise to the birth of Yaldabaoth, a being born of the darkest recesses of the first universe. As time passes, Abraxas witnesses the emergence of other universes and celestial bodies not conceived by her or Azathoth. Among them, she encounters a particularly stunning spinning planet that captivates her heart. Enthralled by its beauty, she crafts her tree and a protective garden to cherish this special place.
Yet, over countless eons, Abraxas becomes aware of another tree within her garden, less impressive than her creation. To investigate, she fashions the first male being, Adam and entrusts him to examine the enigmatic tree while she is barred from entering the garden. However, when Adam falls in love with a woman, not of her making, Abraxas intervenes by creating a mirror image of the woman and swapping her with the one Adam loves.
To safeguard her creations and maintain control, Abraxas generates a beautiful being with radiant wings to watch over her son, Yaldabaoth, and to protect Adam and Eve, the products of her artistry. In this ever-evolving cosmic narrative, the tale of Abraxas unfolds with layers of complexity and intrigue.
